Odoo Tech Lead at Progistack, an Odoo integrator in Abidjan. Joined as a Python developer, promoted to Tech Lead within twelve months, now leading a team of five developers.
I run Odoo implementations end to end: scoping with the client’s management, configuration, custom development, version migration, team training, go-live and support. A technical-functional profile: I design as much as I code.
Approach
Scope before building
Requirements analysis, AS-IS / TO-BE gap analysis, functional specifications. Whatever is missed during scoping gets paid for at go-live.
Weigh configuration against custom code
Every departure from standard Odoo is a maintenance cost at the next migration. Custom development is justified when the business process cannot bend — not the other way round.
Deliver adoption, not software
User acceptance testing, team training, change management, post-go-live support. An ERP nobody uses has solved nothing.

- Leading a team of five developers: technical architecture, code review, task allocation, skills development.
- Running implementations end to end, from scoping with the client’s management through to go-live and support.
- Direct technical contact for clients: estimating, functional versus custom development trade-offs, presenting deliverables.
- Building custom modules (Python, ORM, QWeb, OWL) and running migrations from Odoo 17 to 19.
- Connecting Odoo to third-party software and industrial equipment through APIs, including proprietary systems with no existing connector.
